Our Pricing System

All website designs are different and will be priced individually. To give you an idea to our prices we have created this rough guide.

DESCRIPTION

COST

Consumer insight services from a senior marketing lecturer £100 pound an hour rough estimate
Professional images from a world renowned exhibition photographer price on request
Images from a professional photographer £100 not including travel costs

As already stated, these prices are only a guide and prices can be higher or lower depending on your circumstances. We hope that you can see however that the more input the client makes, the cheaper the prices. Payment for each stage (design and coding) is divided into a upfront 50% payment for the labour costs with the remaining 50% on completion of that stage. For example if the design stage is quoted at £1000 and the coding stage at £200, we would ask for a initial payment of £500 to start work. Once the design has been completed we will ask for the remaining £500 for the design stage. At this point the design of the website is yours and you can decide to walk away at this point and code the website yourself. If you want to continue we will ask for £100 upfront for the coding and the remaining £100 once the website is fully coded. At this point you should have a fully functioning website!

Please remember that ideas and situations can change during this process which may require re-pricing of a stage. We would then ask for another separate 50% payment for the extra work with the remainder payable on completion. We will not start any chargeable extra work unless first gaining consent from the client with the 50% payment.

Payment is should always be made via our Paypal account. We do not accept any other payment method.

We will discuss with you from the outset how to improve upon the price of the quoted website so that you are paying as little as possible. There are cheap ways of coding a website and there are more complex (and ultimately more expensive) ways of coding a website. There are pros and cons to each method and we will discuss this with you at the start to make sure you are only paying for what you want.

Knowing more about what you want before contacting us is the key. The most difficult part is the design stage, and this is also the part where the biggest savings can be made. Trying looking at CSS Mania or other web design showcase websites to get an idea what style of website would suit you.

If you already know what you want, then why not Contact Us for a Quote and see what we can do for you today!

TERMS AND CONDTIONS

The following terms and conditions document is a legal agreement between WEBITU and the “client” for the purposes of web site design or development. These Terms and Conditions set forth the provisions under which the client may use the services supplied. WEBITU is an Internet web design provider offering the client graphical design, HTML documents, CSS documents, Javascript documents and other programming languages.

CONTRACT AND ACCEPTANCE OF WORK

The client’s approval for work to commence shall be deemed a contractual agreement between the client and WEBITU. Approval for the work to commence and payment of the advance fee indicates that the client accepts the terms and conditions outlined in this document.

WEBITU reserve the right to refuse to handle in any way, material which may be deemed offensive, illegal or in any way controversial.

The client agrees that WEBITU may include development credits and links within any code that WEBITU designs, builds or amends. If WEBITU designs a website for a client then the client agrees that WEBITU may include a development credit and link displayed on the client’s website.

If the client requests design or content alterations to pages that have already been completed, new pages or different functionality other than that specified in the original quotation, WEBITU reserves the right to quote separately for these alterations. Examples of alterations include, but are not limited to:

  • Altering the design layout.
  • Altering the logo, images or other graphics.
  • Altering colours and font styles.
  • Altering the design and structure of navigational menus, links, buttons.
  • Altering or adding new functionality to the page, navigation, Javascripts etc.

WEBITU reserves the right to terminate a project with a client at any time without prior notification if it finds the client in breach of these terms and conditions. WEBITU shall be the sole arbiter in deciding what constitutes a breach. No refunds are given in such a situation.

LIABILITIES

WEBITU cannot take responsibility for any losses incurred by the use of any software created for the client. Whilst every care has been taken to ensure products are problem free and accurate, the ultimate responsibility lies with the client in ensuring that all software is functioning correctly before use.

Should the client wish to cancel at any point during the process they shall remain liable for the work that has taken place. The initial 50% payment will be retained by WEBITU for the work carried out thus far.

The client agrees that WEBITU will not be liable for costs incurred, compensation or loss of earnings due to the period in which the project is being undertaken.

The client agrees that WEBITU will not be liable or become involved in any disputes between the site owner and their clients and cannot be held responsible for any wrongdoing on the part of a site owner. This would include any disputes related to content or images that have been provided to us for inclusion on the site.

WEBITU makes every effort to design pages which display acceptably in the most popular current browsers, but cannot accept responsibility for pages which do not display acceptably in new versions of browsers released after pages have been designed.

Problems caused by malicious software, spyware, viruses and website hacking are a fact of life on today’s Internet. It is highly unlikely that these will affect your website, and WEBITU will endeavour to protect it from this as much as we can during its creation, but after the website is handed over we cannot be held responsible for problems caused by illegal activity or the actions of others.

The client agrees that a web page built by WEBITU may not exactly match the original design because of the difference between the display in design software and the rendering of HTML code by internet browser software. WEBITU agrees to try and match the design as closely as is possible when building the code.

WEBITU cannot always guarantee to start work immediately on a commission but will arrange a date with the client as to when work can commence.

WEBITU holds the copyright of any material, including source code and original images created for the client until payment of the final invoice. At this time we will transfer this copyright to the client.

Payment of the advance will be taken as agreement.

After work on a website commences advances are not refundable.

Credit card payments are accepted via our Paypal electronic invoicing system. These payments are subject to a 4% surcharge and full payment is required in advance.

The client agrees to make available as soon as is reasonably possible to WEBITU all materials required to complete the site to the agreed standard. Failure to submit necessary materials in a timely fashion may result in delays in the progress of the project.

Unless agreed in writing, WEBITU make not guarantee on the time taken to complete a project.

The website, graphics and any programming code remain the property of WEBITU until all outstanding accounts are paid in full.

WEBITU reserves the right to decline further work on a project if there are payments outstanding on that project.
